RailComm and Falkonry bring machine learning to the ARC forum

This year’s ARC forum in Orlando features a track on machine learning for the first time.  This underlines the emerging importance of this class of technology to wring value from data generated by the Industrial Internet of Things.  One of the speakers will be Michael Hackney from RailComm.  RailComm is intent on transforming an iron-age industry with IIoT and moving from human-scale inspection of wayside equipment to automated remote monitoring and condition prediction.  The company uses machine learning to scale autonomous condition prediction to 10’s of thousands of things — all without data scientists. Railcomm’s solution is built in part on Falkonry’s condition prediction platform which applies machine learning to time series data.
