This is a part 2 of a blog posted ten days in which we indicated that ARC will be attending the 3rd annual IoT in Oil and Gas event being held on September 13th and 14th in Houston. Not only will there likely be lots of great presentations imparting all kinds of interesting and useful information, knowledge and experience on how IIoT can help oil & gas companies realize operational excellence, but there will also be some really interesting and innovative companies such as Microsoft, PTC, HPE, Deloitte, EY, Wipro, Senslytics, Halliburton, Baker Hughes (A GE Company), BSQUARE, RTI, IoTium, Accenture, Network Box, Falkonry, Primitive Logic, and Quorum Business Solutions (and others) present that can provide some real-world IIoT enabled solutions today. Imagine that, an end user or owner-operator can begin to realize operational excellence today, and in the real world!!
Well since that first post, the event has added even many more great speakers (as well as sponsors and exhibitors) from companies such as Siemens, Atos, Transocean, ConocoPhillips, Statoil, DarkTrace, Devon Energy, Speedcast, Shell Technology Ventures, ServiceMax from GE Digital, Sheridan Production, SOTAOG, Danish Aerospace Company, Aramco Energy Ventures, Commvault, Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC), Texas A&M Cybersecurity Center, Elastic, Wireless Industrial Networks (WIN), DCBrain, Arundo, and Cloud Technology Partners, among others.
This event (there is also a Wearable in Oil and Gas and Blockchain in Oil and Gas event being held on the 12th and 14th, respectively) seems to be a great opportunity for operators and end users to listen, learn and network on about how IIoT-enabled solutions can enable real business value and empower employees to not only survive but thrive in these challenging times. We hope to see you at the show since it looks like it will be a great time.
